The Mind-Body Connection

“The greatest discovery of the 19th century was not in the realm of the physical sciences, but the power of the subconscious mind touched by faith. Any individual can tap into an eternal reservoir of power that will enable them to overcome any problem that may arise. All weaknesses can be overcome, bodily healing, financial independence, spiritual awakening, and prosperity beyond your wildest dreams. This is the superstructure of happiness.”-William James

Hypnosis is a powerful tool to access the power of the subconscious mind and also an effective tool to work with the placebo in you for healing and change.

General hypnosis/hypnotherapy is guided meditation with a goal for change of mind and it is also a process that effects changes in perceptions, thoughts, emotions, sensations, feelings, or behaviors. During a hypnotic session, you will be guided into a hypnotic state which is also a trance state (brain waves at the alpha state). At this state, your mind is usually relaxed, creative, and alert. Hypnosis is a focused psychological state similar to meditation and you are usually relaxed which allows you to be open to suggestions, and even though you are open to suggestions you are always in control.

Your subconscious mind accounts for 95% of creating your life and 5% is from the conscious mind. Hypnosis can help you to be conscious of your unconscious so you can recondition the conscious mind and subconscious mind to create changes in your life. This is a co-creation process.

Consciousness creates and we need to shift what creates. Hypnosis is a tool often used to access your subconscious to uncover and release the cause/energy that is negatively impacting you. Hypnosis is also an effective form of regression, knowing the “what” and “why” allows us to understand what we need to change for results.

“One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.”-Carl Jung

“If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.”-Gospel of Thomas

Hypnosis techniques can also be used to uncover the “darkness” in our unconscious or subconscious. This method of healing to discover the unconscious is termed “shadow work,” a highly advanced form of spiritual healing and development achieved by recognizing and integrating other aspects of ourselves to achieve “wholeness” and “happiness.”

Hypnosis is all around us. It is important to be aware of what we are conditioned to believe. Our work helps you to gain awareness, recondition the mind, and integrate what is beneficial for you. Your safety and well-being remains the top priority for us, at all times, we will ensure a safe environment for our work together.

As Dr. David R. Hawkins states, “The basic dictum to comprehend is that the body obeys the mind; therefore, the body tends to manifest what the mind believes. The belief may be held consciously or unconsciously. This dictum follows from the law of consciousness that states: We are only subject to what we hold in mind. The only power that anything has over us is the power of belief that we give it. By “power,” we mean energy and the will to believe” (The Map of Consciousness Explained, 2020).
